Ladies Circle is an international group of women who join together in the interests of Fun, Friendship, and Fundraising. Traditionally Ladies Circlers were the wives and partners of the Round Table gentlemen, however in 1993 we voted to change this rule and now Ladies Circle is open to all women aged between 18 - 45 years.
King's Lynn Ladies Circle was originally founded on 10th September 1968, however unfortunately membership declined and the group was closed. Some years later Karen Johnson saw how much fun her husband was having in Round Table so decided to join Ladies Circle, having to travel to the next available Area. After a while she asked three friends if they would be interested in joining and starting up a new group. Karen, Carolee Ellis, Suzanne Curl and Nicola Mitchell then reinstated King's Lynn Ladies Circle on the 12th February 2009. King's Lynn Ladies Circle was originally part of Area 28 (Lincolnshire), however we have since moved to Norfolk Area 51
Fast forward to today, and we're a friendly group of ladies who meet every other Tuesday evening, usually from 7.30pm onwards. We meet for a range of activities and try to accommodate everyone when deciding what to do. We also meet at some weekends throughout the year where we have special events i.e. trips to London or family days out.
Recent meetings have included cocktail making, card making, pub quizzes, Bowling, a Harry Potter night, sky diving, chocolate making, and a circus fit class, to name but a few! We also attend events as an Area, a Region, Nationally, and Internationally, and as a result we have friends all over the country and even the world!
Ultimately our aim is to create life long friendships and raise some money - all while having fun along the way!
